May 16, 2008: Techwell to aid the Victims of China Sichuan Earthquake - today announced through its international subsidiary, Techwell China, has donated $172,500 RMB to the Red Cross Society of China to aid victims and those areas affected by the major earthquake centered in the Sichuan province of China on May 12, 2008. 

 

January 7, 2008: Techwell Expands Automotive Infotainment Display Product Line at CES 2008 - today announced over 5 new highly integrated LCD Display processors focused on the emerging automotive infotainment market segment. Techwell in-car LCD display ICs are based on proprietary technologies that provide superior video quality and higher levels of integration and enable the display of DVD Entertainment, Back-Up Camera, TV, Navigation and driver information content within the car. Demonstrations of their broad line of high performance TW88xx In-Car LCD display processors will be held at the company's 2008 CES Meeting Suite #35974 located within the South Hall Upper Level of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

 

November 6, 2007: Bosch Security Systems Selects Techwell's Advanced Security Controllers for Digital Video Quad Processors - today announced that Bosch Security Systems selected Techwell's highly integrated TW2834 four channel video controller solution for use in its LTC 2380/90 and LTC 2382/90 Digital Video Quad Processors. Techwell began mass volume shipments of the TW2834 in 2006. The LTC 238x/90 Digital Video Quad Processors are currently shipping to customers. 

 

November 2, 2007: Hikvision to Adopt Techwell's Next Generation TW2864 4-in1 Video Decoder - today announced Hikvision plans to adopt Techwell’s next generation TW2864 4-in-1 video decoder for their future DVR, DVS and PC DVR Card applications. Featuring the latest H.264 video and audio compression algorithms, Hikvision is the leading developer of China’s rapidly growing video surveillance industry. Utilizing Techwell’s latest generation highly integrated, feature rich NTSC/PAL video decoder surveillance IC will enable Hikvision to strengthen its DVR platform as well as build on its leadership position in the China and international markets.

October 31, 2007: Techwell Announces Next Generation PCI Express DVR Solution for the CCTV Security Surveillance Market - today announced the release of the TW6805 66MHz PCI video decoder with audio and TS input support. In mass production today, the TW6805 is the next generation PC DVR solution based on Techwell's successful TW68xx PCI video decoder product family. Techwell will be demonstrating the TW6805 and other integrated security solutions at the 11th Annual China Public Security Expo Nov 1-4, 2007 located in the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Booth Number: C001,C002,C131,C132.

October 31, 2007: Techwell Helps DVR, Video Server and DVR PCI Card Product Makers Reduce Costs, Footprint and Power Consumption with new Security Surveillance IC - today announced its 4th generation 4-in-1 video decoder and audio codec for security surveillance applications. The TW2864 dramatically reduces the number of ICs and simplifies board-level routing as required to generate higher quality images at lower power consumption for next generation embedded DVR, video server, and DVR PCI Card products.

October 27, 2007: Techwell Previews New Security Surveillance ICs at the China Public Security Expo 2007 Held in Shenzhen China Nov 1-4. Techwell will preview their latest ICs for security surveillance applications at the 11th Annual China Public Security Expo Nov 1-4, 2007. Techwell will be located at center booth number: C001,C002,C131,C132 in the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. In addition, Techwell products will also be showcased with numerous customers and partners at the show.

March 28, 2007: Hikvision partners with Techwell to advance digital security surveillance industry - today announced Hikvision has collaborated with Techwell to help develop an advanced embedded DVR platform based on Techwell's line of advanced 4-in-1 video decoders for security surveillance applications. March 27, 2007: Techwell Announces Tornado Turn Key PCI DVR Card for the CCTV Security Surveillance Market - today announced a fully optimized PC DVR Card solution for the CCTV Security Surveillance market. Leveraging its leading NTSC/PAL video decoding technology, the Tornado solution will enable PCI Card manufacturers and PC based system integrators to go to market quickly with a highly functional, cost effective solution. March 27, 2007: Techwell Unveils Complete End-to-End Penta-Plex DVR Solution - today announced a complete end-to-end 4 channel DVR solution with Penta-Plex capability. Based on the TW2700 4 Channel MJPEG CODEC and the TW2815 4-in-1 NTSC/PAL video decoder with audio ADCs and audio mux, the Penta-Plex DVR solution is a cost-effective, feature-rich turnkey DVR for retail and commercial surveillance customers. This fully optimized solution features the capability to store, playback, monitor, network, and back up at the same time.

March 26, 2007: Techwell Demonstrates Advanced Line of Security Surveillance ICs at the 2007 International Security Show, ISC West March 28-30th - today announced it will demonstrate their broad line of high performance TW28xx Security Surveillance processors at the company's 2007 ISC West booth #6133 located in the Las Vegas Sands Expo and Convention Center. February 15, 2007: Techwell, Inc. to Present at Roth Capital Partners Annual OC Conference - today announced that Mark Voll, Chief Financial Officer will participate in the Roth Capital Partners Annual OC Conference at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California. January 8, 2007: Techwell Announces TW8810 In-Car LCD Display Processor for Sharp Dual Directional Viewing LCD panels- today announced the release of the TW8810 In-Car LCD Display Processor for Sharp Dual View Panels. The TW8810 targets in-car display applications including navigation systems, in dash DVD players, rear-seat/head-mount displays and automotive TVs and is capable of simultaneously displaying different content viewable from various user angles depending on where the screen is being viewed from. As a result, automotive manufacturers can use the TW8810 to support applications where the driver is viewing a navigation system and the passenger is viewing a DVD title. 

January 8, 2007: Techwell Showcases In-Car LCD Display Processors at the Consumer Electronics Show 2007- will demonstrate their broad line of high performance TW88xx In-Car LCD display processors at the company’s 2007 CES booth #5403 located within the Mobile Electronics section in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Techwell has developed a number of new solutions for the In-Car Display market to respond to the growing demand for display related applications like navigation, DVD entertainment and back up cameras in the car. Designed specifically for in-car display applications, all of the TW88xx Processors at CES 2007 have integrated timing controllers and can directly support a variety of small size LCD panels from LG.Philips, Sharp, TMD, Hitachi, AU Optronics and others. 

January 4, 2007: Techwell, Inc. to Present at Needham & Company Growth Conference- today announced that Hiro Kozato, Chief Executive Officer, and Mark Voll, Chief Financial Officer, will participate in the Needham & Company Ninth Annual Growth Conference at the New York Palace Hotel in New York City. September 30, 2007: Techwell Reports Third Quarter 2007 Financial Results - today announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. Net revenue for the third quarter of 2007 was $15.1 million, compared to net revenue of $14.7 million in the preceding quarter and $15.1 million in the third quarter of 2006.

May 03, 2007: Techwell Reports First Quarter 2007 Financial Results - today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007. First Quarter 2007 Highlights: Reported quarterly revenue growth of approximately 38 percent year-over-year Reported quarterly gross margin of 57 percent Achieved first quarter net income of $2.5 million, representing $0.11 earnings per diluted share on a GAAP basis. Net revenue for the first quarter of 2007 was $13.5 million compared to net revenue of $16.0 million in the preceding quarter and $9.8 million in the first quarter of 2006

February 14, 2007: Techwell, Inc. to host fourth quarter 2006 earnings conference call - today announced financial results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2006. Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2006 Highlights: Recorded quarterly revenue growth of approximately 48 percent year-over-year in the fourth quarter. Achieved fourth quarter net income of $4.9 million, representing $0.22 earnings per diluted share on a GAAP basis. Recorded full year revenue growth of nearly 49 percent in 2006 over 2005. Achieved full year net income of $13.2 million, representing $0.64 earnings per diluted share on a GAAP basis. Net revenue for the fourth quarter of 2006 was $16.0 million compared to net revenue of $15.1 million in the preceding quarter and $10.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2005.

January 25, 2007: Techwell to host fourth quarter 2006 earnings conference call - today announced it would release its fourth quarter 2006 results for the period ending December 31, 2006 on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 after the market closes. Following the release, the Company will host a live audio Web cast and conference call beginning at 5:15 p.m. Eastern Time.
